The Lord's Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed
be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive
us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Hail Mary Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou
among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the
hour of our death. Amen
The Glory Be Glory be to the Father, and to
the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Morning Prayer Jesus, Let me lay at your sacred feet
my daily share of joys, struggles and sorrows, my hopes and my fears, and do you in the stillness of your sanctuary tenderly
gather them in your Sacred Heart. Calm my doubts, comfort my fears and grant that, day by day, my will may become
more united to yours. Amen
O Lord, support us all the day long, until the shadows lengthen and the evening comes, and the busy world
is hushed, and the fever of life is over, and our work is done. Then in your mercy grant us a safe lodging, and a holy
rest, and peace at the last. Amen
Night Prayer Thank you, O God for everything
that has happened today; for the good things which have made me happy; for the not so good things which have taught me
that I can't always be getting my own way; for successes, to give me happy times to remember; for failures, to keep
me humble; for time at school, at games, with my friends and in my own home. And thank you for this minute with you.
Before I sleep
tonight, I want to say a prayer for all people - known to me and unknown to me - for whom this has been a special day of gladness
or of grief of trouble or of joy. Bless all the homes in which today life has ended or life has just begun.
O my God, I am very sorry
for all my sins, because they offend you who are so good, and with your help I will not sin again. Forgive me, O God,
for all the wrong things which I have done today. Forgive me for careless work, inattentive study, wasted time,
duties shirked. Forgive me for anyone whom I have hurt, or failed, or disappointed today, and for anything I have
said or done wrong today. Thank you for the new things I have learned today and for all the things I have enjoyed.
Memorare Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known
that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto you O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand sinful
and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me.
To My Guardian Angel You helped me when I needed help.
You protected me when I fell and You listened to me when I was down. We laughed when I was up and You were there when
I needed You. You gave me strength when I needed it and even though I can't give you anything, you don't mind.
You were watching over me when I needed you and I thank you for watching over me. Amen
O Angel of God, my Guardian dear to whom God's love commits me
here. Ever this day be at my side to watch and guard, to rule and guide. Amen
Let His Face Shine
May the Lord bless me. May the Lord keep me safe. May the Lord let His face shine on me, May the Lord fill
me with courage and peace. Amen
A Prayer to St. Therese of Lisieux Little
Flower of Jesus, ever consoling troubled souls with heavenly graces, in your unfailing intercession I place my trust.
From the Heart of Our Blessed Saviour petition these blessings of which I stand in greatest need ( mention here).
Shower upon me your promised roses of virtue and grace, dear St. Therese, so that swiftly advancing in sanctity and in
perfect love of neighbour, I may someday receive the crown of eternal life. Amen
Prayer of St.Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace, Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where
there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. Grant
that I may seek not so much to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love.
For it is giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is dying that we are born to eternal life.
